At GTM.io
Gavin is a GTM Partner at GTM.io, bringing three decades of enterprise technology, SaaS, and public sector go-to-market leadership across the UK and APAC.
He works alongside founders, CEOs, and revenue leaders to strengthen and operate the full go-to-market function - from strategy and positioning through to enterprise sales, partner alignment, and execution discipline. His experience spans startup environments, global enterprise platforms, and complex public sector transformations.
While Gavin has deep expertise in partnerships and ecosystem strategy, his broader strength lies in building commercially aligned revenue engines. He has led record-breaking enterprise agreements, scaled indirect and direct sales motions, built regional teams from zero, and accelerated SaaS transformations inside some of the world’s most influential technology companies.
At GTM.io, he brings that enterprise depth and operational clarity to growth-stage B2B technology companies that need more than advice - they need leadership, structure, and execution that performs.
His approach is practical and outcome-focused. Clear ownership. Strong alignment. Relentless commercial accountability.
Before GTM.io
Gavin began his career in advertising with Ogilvy & Mather in London, where he developed a deep appreciation for positioning, narrative, and commercial clarity. From there, he moved into technology, taking on channel and sales roles with Apple and Adobe in the UK.
Adobe later relocated him to Sydney to lead an APAC Product Marketing role, marking the beginning of a long career shaping and scaling technology businesses across Australia and the region.
He spent a decade with Microsoft in Queensland, working across enterprise and public sector accounts. During this period, he led go-to-market efforts alongside major systems integrators including Data#3 and went on to lead the Healthcare Industry Sales team. He was part of the leadership team that secured the largest ever contract with the Queensland State Government and led the team that won the first three-year Queensland Government Enterprise Agreement covering licensing, services, and support.
After Microsoft, Gavin established and built the Queensland operation for Polycom, growing the business more than 350% and securing one of the largest unified communications agreements in the national education sector. He later joined SAP to build the Queensland channel, growing the indirect business by 130% in his first year.
As one of the early team members in Queensland at Amazon Web Services, Gavin led channel strategy across Queensland and Western Australia. He helped services-led technology businesses grow rapidly, supported founders through significant scale and successful exits, and led the team working with TechnologyOne as it accelerated its SaaS transformation and expanded into the UK, achieving more than 120% growth and global recognition for innovation.
At AWS, he was selected as an Amazon Bar Raiser, part of an elite group (less than 1% globally) responsible for maintaining hiring excellence across the region.
Most recently, Gavin was headhunted to join the APAC launch team for Wiz, one of the fastest-growing SaaS companies globally. He built the channel-led go-to-market motion across ANZ and ASEAN from inception, positioning Wiz as a preferred cloud security partner within AWS and Google ecosystems.
Across startup, enterprise, and public sector environments, his through-line has been consistent: build the right partnerships, align incentives, execute with discipline, and growth follows.
Beyond GTM.io
Outside of work, Gavin is first and foremost a father to two grown daughters. Time together, whether at the beach in summer or on the snow in winter remains a priority.
Sport has always played a central role in his life. Football (soccer), hiking, golf, and pickleball keep him active and competitive. He follows global current affairs and geopolitics closely and maintains a deep curiosity about technology and its impact on society.
Gavin also gives back through service. He is a Non-Executive Director of a 100-year-old not-for-profit organisation in the childcare sector and volunteers with a homelessness charity that provides washing and shower facilities for those in need. He was also a founding member of the Women in Digital Advisory Board. Inclusivity and addressing homelessness are causes he cares deeply about.
And for those who assume seasoned technology leaders are entirely predictable, he learnt tap dancing as a child.
An unexpected detail, perhaps. But discipline, rhythm, and timing have always mattered.
