Anna Sandford

Video Producer

At GTM.io

Anna leads video production and visual content strategy at GTM.io.

As a videographer, video editor, and content strategist, she works closely with founders and leadership teams to translate conviction into presence. Her work sits at the intersection of storytelling, commercial strategy, and platform-native execution - ensuring that video is not just content, but a growth lever.

Within the GTM.io model, Anna’s role is to surface the human edge behind technology businesses. She believes founder-led content is no longer optional. In a market shaped by AI and automation, trust becomes the differentiator - and trust is built when real people stand visibly behind a real mission.

Every video is designed with intent. From long-form YouTube strategy to executive thought leadership and campaign assets, her work aligns to commercial objectives: authority, pipeline, brand equity, and sustained market presence.

Today, showing the true colours and beliefs behind a business is the baseline. Anna ensures GTM.io clients do that with clarity and strategic discipline.

Before GTM.io

Anna’s career began in the IT industry at Ausbil, a boutique funds manager responsible for over a billion dollars in transactions. Working in high-pressure, high-stakes environments gave her an appreciation for precision, reliability, and the systems that underpin serious operations.

As the AI wave accelerated, she recognised the structural shift underway. In a world where businesses can be built quickly and replicated easily, the moat becomes brand. That insight led her to reposition her career toward the creator economy - an industry forecast to double in size by 2027.

Before returning to Australia to build her presence locally, Anna travelled to over thirteen countries, broadening her perspective and understanding of global digital culture.

She went on to work with business owners and creators using YouTube as a long-term authority platform. She helped personal brand Aprilynne Alter scale beyond 100,000 subscribers - building brand equity equivalent to one million short-form followers. That growth contributed directly to Aprilynne being featured in New York City’s Times Square and meeting the CEO of YouTube.

As a content strategist inside Creator Crew, a six-month accelerator for YouTube creators, Anna supported a cohort that collectively generated over fourteen million views and more than a quarter of a million subscribers across thirty channels.

She also provided pre-production support at the American YouTube agency 1of10, working with creators with audiences exceeding half a million subscribers and contributing to videos surpassing one million views.

Her work extends into the technology sector, producing ongoing content for Adactin and positioning its CEO as a visible voice in AI and technology. Content she shot has been noticed and shared on LinkedIn by the Head of Staff at MrBeast Industries - one of the most influential creator-led companies globally.

Across micro-influencers, established personal brands, and enterprise clients, Anna developed a rare blend of capabilities: videography, editing, marketing psychology, graphic design, analytics, and platform strategy. She operates with a strong belief in data-led decision making and continuous iteration.

Beyond GTM.io

Anna has lived in Sydney, Australia her whole life. Growing up close to the CBD gave her access to strong education and early career opportunities, while Sydney's position as a global city has allowed her to work with clients from around the world. Australia remains an underserved market for specialised YouTube strategy, and Anna is one of the few providing that level of expertise to local business owners.

Her long-time partner Blake has been by her side throughout the entire journey. Pursuing a career in such a niche industry has not always been straightforward. The creator economy in Australia is still very much in its infancy compared to the United States, and finding fellow content creator professionals locally has been rare. Having that consistent support has made a real difference in building something meaningful in a market that is only just beginning to catch up.

Anna grew up with a natural curiosity around computers and what that world had to offer, building her own machines from a young age.

That early hands-on instinct never left. Today, her IT background keeps her close to the cutting edge. She regularly experiments with her own AI models and AI video generation technology, exploring new opportunities in a forever-evolving industry. Curiosity is not something she switches on for client work, it runs through everything.

Outside of helping businesses grow through video, Anna is passionate about weight training, a commitment that deepened after managing a disc bulge injury and one that has taught her a lot about consistency and showing up even when progress is slow. She also maintains a keen interest in geo-politics and economics, particularly as global shifts directly impact her American clients and the broader landscape in which they operate.

Anna believes in following the data and maintaining a growth mindset. Embracing new ideas and technology is not optional in this landscape. It is the foundation for staying ahead.
